Long story short, Che's maid's dog gave birth to 9 puppies and they couldn't keep all of them so we decided to help out put them up for adoption. We put them up in Ateneo Trade and within half an hour all were reserved! We were overwhelmed by the number of people who wanted puppies, but we didn't want to give them to just anyone so we decided to have a screening process for any potential pup owners.
The potential pup owners came over last Saturday. The screening involved us asking some questions about how they plan to care for the puppies, where the puppies will stay (we found some guidelines that shelters use to help us form our interview questions), and also observing how they were around my dogs who roam in and out of the house freely - are big, I might add and not necessarily warm to strangers (though Yoda was particularly nice that day). After the screening, if we felt like the puppies would be a good fit, we let them take the puppies home, with a care package to help them sort out their first few weeks!
